Cedar Lake is home to several local attractions, including the Cedar Lake Farm Regional Park and Lyndale Park Gardens. Cedar Lake Township is relatively small, with a population of about 2,197, as of 2000. The township’s history traces back over 200 years. In 1858 the township was named after Cedar Lake.
